ThaiBridge is run on Buddhist principles, and this page is where I put them in writing: what is free, what costs money, why, and what happens if you change your mind. No small print — if something here isn't clear, ask me.

Right livelihood สัมมาอาชีวะ
Earn honestly. Prices are shown in full, there are no hidden fees, and nothing is sold with pressure or tricks.
Generosity ทาน
The Buddha's teaching is a gift, so it is never sold. Everything about the Dhamma on this site is free for everyone.
Non-harm อหิงสา
No adverts, no tracking, and your information is never sold. You are a learner here, not a product.
Fairness
What you pay for is what keeps the app running — the AI, the lessons and the native speakers who check the Thai. Nothing more.

Why: the Dhamma and meditation are practice, not a product, and charging for them would be selling the teaching. The alphabet, Survival Thai and the spelling guide are the way in to everything else — putting a price on the front door would shut out the people who most need it.

Why: the Thai course takes real work to build, and every lesson is being checked by a paid native-speaking teacher so you are not taught a mistake. Every AI message also costs money to run. Your subscription pays for exactly those things — it is what lets the free parts stay free.
🤖 Why the AI has daily limits
Every reply from the AI is paid for, one message at a time. A daily allowance keeps that cost fair for everyone and means the free tier can exist at all. The Thai Master (Pro) limit is set far above what a day of real study needs — if you ever reach it, get in touch.
Dhamma questions have their own allowance, kept separate from the tutor, and running out of it never asks you for money. The limit is only what it costs to run the model.
🧡 Monastics practise free
Monastics use the whole of ThaiBridge free of charge, every section and every plan, through Monk Mode. No payment is ever asked of the Sangha.
🙏 Dāna — giving
You can make a gift to support ThaiBridge. A gift is exactly that: it unlocks nothing and buys nothing, because generosity given in exchange for something isn't dāna. Every gift is received with gratitude.
↩️ Cancelling and refunds
- Cancel any time from your progress page — one button, no emails needed.
- You keep what you paid for. After you cancel you keep full access until the end of the month or year you have already paid for. You won't be charged again.
- 14-day refunds. If you're not happy, contact me within 14 days of any payment and you'll get a full refund — no questions asked.
- Prices include tax. The price you see is the price you pay.
- Secure payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. ThaiBridge never sees or stores your card details.
