🪷 Why some things are FREE

I value generosity (dāna). The Buddha's teachings were freely given, so the Theravada Dhamma teachings and the Dhamma articles are free for everyone — no account, no subscription, no level required. The teaching itself is never behind a paywall.

That extends to asking about it: the Dhamma Q&A is free as well, because charging for the follow-up question would be selling the teaching. It shares the same daily message allowance as the AI Tutor — every message costs real money to run, so there is a limit, but the limit is that cost, not a toll on the Dhamma. What you pay for is the tooling built on top: the Thai language course (Thai Reader) and the wider AI features — conversation practice, the exercise generator and Culture Q&A (Thai Master). The teachings stay open; the study tools are what keep the project running.

🪷 Our Mission

I named it ThaiBridge AI because it builds the bridge that integrates English speaking communities with Thais — so we can all work well together and flourish through mutual respect and understanding, as well as loving-kindness amongst other Buddhist values.

Thai can't be learned stripped of its culture. How polite you are literally changes which words you use, and a huge amount of everyday speech is rooted in Buddhism. So we teach all of it together: the script, the tones, the register, and the cultural and Buddhist context. The Buddhist material isn't here to convert anyone — it's here because the language doesn't make sense without it.
