ธัมมะวิจาโร โลเก ปิยะรูปัง สาตะรูปัง, เอตเถสา ตัณหา อุปปัชชะมานา อุปปัชชะติ, เอตถะ นิวีสะมานา นิวีสะติ.

Dhammavicāro loke piyarūpaṃ sātarūpaṃ, etthesā taṇhā uppajjamānā uppajjati, ettha nivīsamānā nivīsati.

Examination of mind-objects in the world is dear and agreeable; there this craving arises when it arises, and there it settles when it settles.

อิทัง วุจจะติ ภิกขะเว ทุกขะสะมุทะโย อะริยะสัจจัง.

Idaṃ vuccati bhikkhave dukkhasamudayo ariyasaccaṃ.

This, monks, is called the noble truth of the arising of suffering.

กะตะมัญจะ ภิกขะเว ทุกขะนิโรโธ อะริยะสัจจัง. โย ตัสสาเยวะ ตัณหายะ อะเสสะวิราคะนิโรโธ จาโค ปะฏินิสสัคโค มุตติ อะนาละโย. สา โข ปะเนสา ภิกขะเว ตัณหา กัตถะ ปะหิยยะมานา ปะหิยยะติ, กัตถะ นิรุชฌะมานา นิรุชฌะติ, ยัง โลเก ปิยะรูปัง สาตะรูปัง, เอตเถสา ตัณหา ปะหิยยะมานา ปะหิยยะติ, เอตถะ นิรุชฌะมานา นิรุชฌะติ กิญจะ โลเก ปิยะรูปัง สาตะรูปัง.

Katamañca bhikkhave dukkhanirodho ariyasaccaṃ. Yo tassāyeva taṇhāya asesavirāganirodho cāgo paṭinissaggo mutti anālayo. Sā kho panesā bhikkhave taṇhā kattha pahiyyamānā pahiyyati, kattha nirujjhamānā nirujjhati, yaṃ loke piyarūpaṃ sātarūpaṃ, etthesā taṇhā pahiyyamānā pahiyyati, ettha nirujjhamānā nirujjhati kiñca loke piyarūpaṃ sātarūpaṃ.

And what, monks, is the noble truth of the cessation of suffering? It is the remainderless fading away and cessation of that same craving, the giving up of it, the letting go of it, freedom from it, non-reliance upon it. And where, monks, is this craving abandoned when it is abandoned, and where does it cease when it ceases? Wherever in the world there is what is dear and agreeable, there this craving is abandoned when it is abandoned, and there it ceases when it ceases. And what in the world is dear and agreeable?

จักขุง โลเก ปิยะรูปัง สาตะรูปัง, เอตเถสา ตัณหา ปะหิยยะมานา ปะหิยยะติ, เอตถะ นิรุชฌะมานา นิรุชฌะติ.

Cakkhuṃ loke piyarūpaṃ sātarūpaṃ, etthesā taṇhā pahiyyamānā pahiyyati, ettha nirujjhamānā nirujjhati.

The eye in the world is dear and agreeable; there this craving is abandoned when it is abandoned, and there it ceases when it ceases.

โสตัง โลเก ปิยะรูปัง สาตะรูปัง, เอตเถสา ตัณหา ปะหิยยะมานา ปะหิยยะติ, เอตถะ นิรุชฌะมานา นิรุชฌะติ.

Sotaṃ loke piyarūpaṃ sātarūpaṃ, etthesā taṇhā pahiyyamānā pahiyyati, ettha nirujjhamānā nirujjhati.

The ear in the world is dear and agreeable; there this craving is abandoned when it is abandoned, and there it ceases when it ceases.

ฆานัง โลเก ปิยะรูปัง สาตะรูปัง, เอตเถสา ตัณหา ปะหิยยะมานา ปะหิยยะติ, เอตถะ นิรุชฌะมานา นิรุชฌะติ.

Ghānaṃ loke piyarūpaṃ sātarūpaṃ, etthesā taṇhā pahiyyamānā pahiyyati, ettha nirujjhamānā nirujjhati.

The nose in the world is dear and agreeable; there this craving is abandoned when it is abandoned, and there it ceases when it ceases.

ชิวหา โลเก ปิยะรูปัง สาตะรูปัง, เอตเถสา ตัณหา ปะหิยยะมานา ปะหิยยะติ, เอตถะ นิรุชฌะมานา นิรุชฌะติ.

Jivhā loke piyarūpaṃ sātarūpaṃ, etthesā taṇhā pahiyyamānā pahiyyati, ettha nirujjhamānā nirujjhati.

The tongue in the world is dear and agreeable; there this craving is abandoned when it is abandoned, and there it ceases when it ceases.

กาโย โลเก ปิยะรูปัง สาตะรูปัง, เอตเถสา ตัณหา ปะหิยยะมานา ปะหิยยะติ, เอตถะ นิรุชฌะมานา นิรุชฌะติ.
