อัตถะตัง ภันเต สังฆัสสะ กะฐินัง, ธัมมิโก กะฐินัตถาโร อะนุโมทามะ (ว่า 3 ครั้ง)
Atthataṃ bhante saṅghassa kaṭhinaṃ, dhammiko kaṭhinatthāro anumodāma
นี้สำหรับผู้อ่อนพรรษากว่าท่านผู้ครองกฐินกล่าว ถ้ามีภิกษุที่แก่พรรษากว่าท่านผู้ครองกฐินอยู่ในที่นั้น กี่รูปก็ตามให้ผู้แก่เหล่านั้นเปลี่ยนคำว่า ภันเต เป็น อาวุโส หรือจะให้ว่าพร้อมกันเฉพาะผู้แก่เสียคราวหนึ่งก่อนว่า 3 ครั้งแล้วให้ผู้อ่อนกว่าอีกคราวหนึ่ง 3 ครั้งก็ได้
