Tatiyampi buddhaṃ saraṇaṃ gacchāmi.
For a third time, I go to the Buddha for refuge.
ตะติยัมปิ ธัมมัง สะระณัง คัจฉามิ.
Tatiyampi dhammaṃ saraṇaṃ gacchāmi.
For a third time, I go to the Dhamma for refuge.
ตะติยัมปิ สังฆัง สะระณัง คัจฉามิ.
Tatiyampi saṅghaṃ saraṇaṃ gacchāmi.
For a third time, I go to the Sangha for refuge.

โย จักขุมา โมหะมะลาปะกัฏโฐ
Yo cakkhumā mohamalāpakaṭṭho
He who has vision, with the stain of delusion removed,
สามัง วะ พุทโธ สุคะโต วิมุตโต
Sāmaṃ va buddho sugato vimutto
awakened by himself, well-gone, released,
มารัสสะ ปาสา วินิโมจะยันโต
Mārassa pāsā vinimocayanto
freeing beings from the snares of Māra,
ปาเปสิ เขมัง ชะนะตัง วิเนยยัง.
Pāpesi khemaṃ janataṃ vineyyaṃ.
led the people who were to be trained to safety.
พุทธัง วะรันตัง สิระสา นะมามิ
Buddhaṃ varantaṃ sirasā namāmi
With my head I revere that excellent Buddha,
โลกัสสะ นาถัญจะ วินายะกัญจะ
Lokassa nāthañca vināyakañca
the protector and the guide of the world.
ตันเตชะสา เต ชะยะสิทธิ โหตุ
Tantejasā te jayasiddhi hotu
By that power may victory and success be yours,
สัพพันตะรายา จะ วินาสะเมนตุ.
Sabbantarāyā ca vināsamentu.
and may all dangers come to nothing.
ธัมโม ธะโช โย วิยะ ตัสสะ สัตถุ
Dhammo dhajo yo viya tassa satthu
The Dhamma, which is like the banner of that Teacher,
ทัสเสสิ โลกัสสะ วิสุทธิมัคคัง
Dassesi lokassa visuddhimaggaṃ
showed the world the path of purification,
นิยยานิโก ธัมมะธะรัสสะ ธารี
Niyyāniko dhammadharassa dhārī
leading out, upholding the one who upholds it,
สาตาวะโห สันติกะโร สุจิณโณ.
Sātāvaho santikaro suciṇṇo.
bringing sweetness, making peace, well practised.
ธัมมัง วะรันตัง สิระสา นะมามิ
Dhammaṃ varantaṃ sirasā namāmi
With my head I revere that excellent Dhamma,
โมหัปปะทาลัง อุปะสันตะทาหัง
Mohappadālaṃ upasantadāhaṃ
which shatters delusion and stills the burning.
ตันเตชะสา เต ชะยะสิทธิ โหตุ
Tantejasā te jayasiddhi hotu
By that power may victory and success be yours,
สัพพันตะรายา จะ วินาสะเมนตุ.
Sabbantarāyā ca vināsamentu.
and may all dangers come to nothing.
สัทธัมมะเสนา สุคะตานุโค โย
Saddhammasenā sugatānugo yo
The army of the true Dhamma, which follows the Well-Gone One,
โลกัสสะ ปาปูปะกิเลสะเชตา
Lokassa pāpūpakilesajetā
conqueror of the world's evil and defilements,
สันโต สะยัง สันตินิโยชะโก จะ
Santo sayaṃ santiniyojako ca
peaceful in itself and joining others to peace,
ส๎วากขาตะธัมมัง วิทิตัง กะโรติ.
Svākkhātadhammaṃ viditaṃ karoti.
makes known the well-proclaimed Dhamma.
สังฆัง วะรันตัง สิระสา นะมามิ
Saṅghaṃ varantaṃ sirasā namāmi
With my head I revere that excellent Sangha,
พุทธานุพุทธัง สะมะสีละทิฏฐิง
Buddhānubuddhaṃ samasīladiṭṭhiṃ
awakened after the Awakened One, equal in virtue and in view.
