ชะยันโต โพธิยา มูเล สัก๎ยานัง นันทิวัฑฒะโน

Jayanto bodhiyā mūle sakyānaṃ nandivaḍḍhano

Victorious at the foot of the Bodhi tree, increasing the joy of the Sakyans,

เอวัง ต๎วัง วิชะโย โหหิ ชะยัสสุ ชะยะมังคะเล.

Evaṃ tvaṃ vijayo hohi jayassu jayamaṅgale.

so may you be victorious; may you win the blessing of victory.

อะปะราชิตะปัลลังเก สีเส ปะฐะวิโปกขะเร

Aparājitapallaṅke sīse pathavipokkhare

On the unconquered seat, on the crown of the earth's lotus,

อะภิเสเก สัพพะพุทธานัง อัคคัปปัตโต ปะโมทะติ ฯ

Abhiseke sabbabuddhānaṃ aggappatto pamodati.

the consecration place of all the Buddhas, he rejoices, having reached the summit.

สุนักขัตตัง สุมังคะลัง สุปะภาตัง สุหุฏฐิตัง

Sunakkhattaṃ sumaṅgalaṃ supabhātaṃ suhuṭṭhitaṃ

A good star, a good blessing, a good dawn, a good rising,

สุขะโณ สุมุหุตโต จะ สุยิฏฐัง พ๎รัห๎มะจาริสุ.

Sukhaṇo sumuhutto ca suyiṭṭhaṃ brahmacārisu.

a good moment, a good instant, and a good offering to those who live the holy life.

ปะทักขิณัง กายะกัมมัง วาจากัมมัง ปะทักขิณัง

Padakkhiṇaṃ kāyakammaṃ vācākammaṃ padakkhiṇaṃ

Auspicious is bodily action, auspicious is verbal action,

ปะทักขิณัง มะโนกัมมัง ปะณิธี เต ปะทักขิณา.

Padakkhiṇaṃ manokammaṃ paṇidhī te padakkhiṇā.

auspicious is mental action, and auspicious are your aspirations.

ปะทักขิณานิ กัต๎วานะ ละภันตัตเถ ปะทักขิเณ.

Padakkhiṇāni katvāna labhantatthe padakkhiṇe.

Having done what is auspicious, they gain auspicious benefits.

โส อัตถะลัทโธ สุขิโต วิรุพโห พุทธะสาสะเน

So atthaladdho sukhito virubho buddhasāsane

May he gain the benefit and be happy, flourishing in the Buddha's teaching,

อะโรโค สุขิโต โหหิ สะหะ สัพเพหิ ญาติภิ.

Arogo sukhito hohi saha sabbehi ñātibhi.

free of illness and happy, together with all his kin.

สา อัตถะลัทธา สุขิตา วิรุพหา พุทธะสาสะเน

Sā atthaladdhā sukhitā virubhā buddhasāsane

May she gain the benefit and be happy, flourishing in the Buddha's teaching,

อะโรคา สุขิตา โหหิ สะหะ สัพเพหิ ญาติภิ.

Arogā sukhitā hohi saha sabbehi ñātibhi.

free of illness and happy, together with all her kin.

เต อัตถะลัทธา สุขิตา วิรุพหา พุทธะสาสะเน

Te atthaladdhā sukhitā virubhā buddhasāsane

May they gain the benefit and be happy, flourishing in the Buddha's teaching,

อะโรคา สุขิตา โหถะ สะหะ สัพเพหิ ญาติภิ.

Arogā sukhitā hotha saha sabbehi ñātibhi.

free of illness and happy, together with all your kin.

สักกัต๎วา พุทธะระตะนัง โอสะถัง อุตตะมัง วะรัง

Sakkatvā buddharatanaṃ osathaṃ uttamaṃ varaṃ

Having honoured the jewel of the Buddha, the supreme and excellent medicine,

หิตัง เทวะมะนุสสานัง พุทธะเตเชนะ โสตถินา

Hitaṃ devamanussānaṃ buddhatejena sotthinā

the welfare of devas and humans — by the Buddha's might and its safety,

นัสสันตุปัททะวา สัพเพ ทุกขา วูปะสะเมนตุ เต.

Nassantupaddavā sabbe dukkhā vūpasamentu te.

may all misfortunes perish, may your sufferings be stilled.

สักกัต๎วา ธัมมะระตะนัง โอสะถัง อุตตะมัง วะรัง

Sakkatvā dhammaratanaṃ osathaṃ uttamaṃ varaṃ

Having honoured the jewel of the Dhamma, the supreme and excellent medicine,

ปะริพาหูปะสะมะนัง ธัมมะเตเชนะ โสตถินา

Paribāhūpasamanaṃ dhammatejena sotthinā

the stilling of fever — by the Dhamma's might and its safety,

นัสสันตุปัททะวา สัพเพ ภะยา วูปะสะเมนตุ เต.

Nassantupaddavā sabbe bhayā vūpasamentu te.

may all misfortunes perish, may your fears be stilled.

สักกัต๎วา สังฆะระตะนัง โอสะถัง อุตตะมัง วะรัง

Sakkatvā saṅgharatanaṃ osathaṃ uttamaṃ varaṃ

Having honoured the jewel of the Sangha, the supreme and excellent medicine,

อาหุเนยยัง ปาหุเนยยัง สังฆะเตเชนะ โสตถินา

Āhuneyyaṃ pāhuneyyaṃ saṅghatejena sotthinā

worthy of gifts and hospitality — by the Sangha's might and its safety,

นัสสันตุปัททะวา สัพเพ โรคา วูปะสะเมนตุ เต.

Nassantupaddavā sabbe rogā vūpasamentu te.

may all misfortunes perish, may your illnesses be stilled.

นัตถิ เม สะระณัง อัญญัง พุทโธ เม สะระณัง วะรัง

Natthi me saraṇaṃ aññaṃ buddho me saraṇaṃ varaṃ

I have no other refuge; the Buddha is my excellent refuge.

เอเตนะ สัจจะวัชเชนะ โหตุ เต ชะยะมังคะลัง.

Etena saccavajjena hotu te jayamaṅgalaṃ.

By this utterance of truth, may you have the blessing of victory.
