ขะยัง วิราคัง อะมะตัง ปะณีตัง ยะทัชฌะคา สัก๎ยะมุนี สะมาหิโต นะ เตนะ ธัมเมนะ สะมัตถิ กิญจิ อิทัมปิ ธัมเม ระตะนัง ปะณีตัง เอเตนะ สัจเจนะ สุวัตถิ โหตุ.

khayaṃ virāgaṃ amataṃ paṇītaṃ yadajjhagā sakyamunī samāhito na tena dhammena samatthi kiñci idampi dhamme ratanaṃ paṇītaṃ etena saccena suvatthi hotu.

Cessation, dispassion, the deathless, the sublime — which the Sakyan sage, composed, attained: there is nothing whatever equal to that Dhamma. This too is a precious jewel in the Dhamma. By this truth may there be well-being.

ยาวะตา ธัมมา สังขะตา, อะริโย อัฏฐังคิโก มัคโค เตสัง อัคคะมักขายะติ. เสยยะถีทัง: สัมมาทิฏฐิ สัมมาสังกัปโป, สัมมาวาจา สัมมากัมมันโต สัมมาอาชีโว, สัมมาวายาโม สัมมาสะติ สัมมาสะมาธิ. เย โข อะริยะมัคคะธัมเม ปะสันนา อัคเค เต ปะสันนา, อัคเค โข ปะนะ ปะสันนานัง อัคโค วิปาโก.

yāvatā dhammā saṅkhatā, ariyo aṭṭhaṅgiko maggo tesaṃ aggamakkhāyati. seyyathīdaṃ: sammādiṭṭhi sammāsaṅkappo, sammāvācā sammākammanto sammāājīvo, sammāvāyāmo sammāsati sammāsamādhi. ye kho ariyamaggadhamme pasannā agge te pasannā, agge kho pana pasannānaṃ aggo vipāko.

Of whatever states are conditioned, the noble eightfold path is declared the foremost of them — that is to say: right view, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration. Those who have confidence in the states of the noble path have confidence in the foremost; and for those who have confidence in the foremost, the result is foremost.

ยัมพุทธะเสฏโฐ ปะริวัณณะยี สุจิง สะมาธิมานันตะริกัญญะมาหุ สะมาธินา เตนะ สะโม นะ วิชชะติ อิทัมปิ สังเฆ ระตะนัง ปะณีตัง เอเตนะ สัจเจนะ สุวัตถิ โหตุ.

yaṃ buddhaseṭṭho parivaṇṇayī suciṃ samādhimānantarikaññamāhu samādhinā tena samo na vijjati idampi saṅghe ratanaṃ paṇītaṃ etena saccena suvatthi hotu.

That purity which the best of Buddhas extolled, the concentration they call immediate — no equal to that concentration is found. This too is a precious jewel in the Sangha. By this truth may there be well-being.

ยาวะตา สังฆา วา คะณา วา, ตะถาคะตะสาวะกะสังโฆ เตสัง อัคคะมักขายะติ, ยะทิทัง: จัตตาริ ปุริสะยุคานิ อัฏฐะ ปุริสะปุคคะลา. เย โข สังเฆ ปะสันนา, อัคเค เต ปะสันนา, อัคเค โข ปะนะ ปะสันนานัง อัคโค วิปาโก.

yāvatā saṅghā vā gaṇā vā, tathāgatasāvakasaṅgho tesaṃ aggamakkhāyati, yadidaṃ: cattāri purisayugāni aṭṭha purisapuggalā. ye kho saṅghe pasannā, agge te pasannā, agge kho pana pasannānaṃ aggo vipāko.

Of whatever communities or assemblies there are, the Sangha of the Tathāgata's disciples is declared the foremost of them — that is to say: the four pairs of persons, the eight kinds of individuals. Those who have confidence in the Sangha have confidence in the foremost; and for those who have confidence in the foremost, the result is foremost.

เย ปุคคะลา อัฏฐะสะตัง ปะสัฏฐา จัตตาริ เอตานิ ยุคานิ โหนติ. เต ทักขิเณยยา สุคะตัสสะ สาวะกา เอเตสุ ทินนานิ มะหัปผะลานิ อิทัมปิ สังเฆ ระตะนัง ปะณีตัง เอเตนะ สัจเจนะ สุวัตถิ โหตุ.

ye puggalā aṭṭhasataṃ pasatthā cattāri etāni yugāni honti. te dakkhiṇeyyā sugatassa sāvakā etesu dinnāni mahapphalāni idampi saṅghe ratanaṃ paṇītaṃ etena saccena suvatthi hotu.

Those eight persons, praised by the good, who are these four pairs — they are the disciples of the Fortunate One, worthy of offerings; what is given to them bears great fruit. This too is a precious jewel in the Sangha. By this truth may there be well-being.

เย สุปปะยุตตา มะนะสา ทัฬเหนะ นิกกามิโน โคตะมะสาสะนัมหิ เต ปัตติปัตตา อะมะตัง วิคัยหะ ลัทธา มุธา นิพพุติง ภุญชะมานา อิทัมปิ สังเฆ ระตะนัง ปะณีตัง เอเตนะ สัจเจนะ สุวัตถิ โหตุ.

ye suppayuttā manasā daḷhena nikkāmino gotamasāsanamhi te pattipattā amataṃ vigayha laddhā mudhā nibbutiṃ bhuñjamānā idampi saṅghe ratanaṃ paṇītaṃ etena saccena suvatthi hotu.

Those who, well applied with a firm mind, are free of desire in Gotama's dispensation — they have reached attainment, plunged into the deathless, and enjoy the peace they have won at no cost. This too is a precious jewel in the Sangha. By this truth may there be well-being.
