(bow, and while bowing low say:)
กาเยนะ วาจายะ วะ เจตะสา วา,
Kāyena vācāya va cetasā vā,
ด้วยกายก็ดี ด้วยวาจาก็ดี ด้วยใจก็ดี,
By body, by speech, or by mind,
พุทเธ กุกัมมัง ปะกะตัง มะยา ยัง,
Buddhe kukammaṃ pakataṃ mayā yaṃ,
กรรมน่าติเตียนอันใด ที่ข้าพเจ้ากระทำแล้วในพระพุทธเจ้า,
whatever wrong has been done by me towards the Buddha —
พุทโธ ปะฏิคคัณหะตุ อัจจะยันตัง,
Buddho paṭiggaṇhatu accayantaṃ,
ขอพระพุทธเจ้า จงงดซึ่งโทษล่วงเกินอันนั้น,
may the Buddha accept that transgression,
กาลันตะเร สังวะริตุง วะ พุทเธ,
Kālantare saṃvarituṃ va buddhe,
เพื่อการสำรวมระวัง ในพระพุทธเจ้า ในกาลต่อไป.
that in time to come I may be restrained towards the Buddha.
ธัมมานุสสติ Dhammānussati The Recollection of the Dhamma
หันทะ มะยัง ธัมมานุสสะตินะยัง กะโรมะ เส.
Handa mayaṃ dhammānussatinayaṃ karoma se.

ส๎วากขาโต ภะคะวะตา ธัมโม,
Svākkhāto bhagavatā dhammo,
พระธรรม เป็นสิ่งที่พระผู้มีพระภาคเจ้าได้ตรัสไว้ดีแล้ว,
The Dhamma is well proclaimed by the Blessed One,
สันทิฏฐิโก,
Sandiṭṭhiko,
เป็นสิ่งที่ผู้ศึกษาและปฏิบัติ พึงเห็นได้ด้วยตนเอง,
visible here and now,
อะกาลิโก,
Akāliko,
เป็นสิ่งที่ปฏิบัติได้ และให้ผลได้ ไม่จำกัดกาล,
timeless,
เอหิปัสสิโก,
Ehipassiko,
เป็นสิ่งที่ควรกล่าวกะผู้อื่นว่า ท่านจงมาดูเถิด,
inviting all to come and see,
โอปะนะยิโก,
Opanayiko,
เป็นสิ่งที่ควรน้อมเข้ามาใส่ตัว,
leading onwards,
ปัจจัตตัง เวทิตัพโพ วิญญูหีติ.
Paccattaṃ veditabbo viññūhīti.

to be known each for himself by the wise.
