สัพเพ เต ทุนนิมิตตา,
sabbe te dunnimittā,
all your ill omens,
สัพเพ เต อะวะมังคะลา วินัสสันตุ,
sabbe te avamaṅgalā vinassantu,
all your inauspicious things be destroyed;
อายุวัฑฒะโก,
āyuvaḍḍhako,
may there be growth in long life,
ธะนะวัฑฒะโก,
dhanavaḍḍhako,
growth in wealth,
สิริวัฑฒะโก,
sirivaḍḍhako,
growth in good fortune,
ยะสะวัฑฒะโก,
yasavaḍḍhako,
growth in renown,
พะละวัฑฒะโก,
balavaḍḍhako,
growth in strength,
วัณณะวัฑฒะโก,

growth in beauty,

ทุกขะโรคะภะยา เวรา โสกา สัตตุ จุปัททะวา
dukkharogabhayā verā sokā sattu cupaddavā
Suffering, disease, danger, enmity, sorrow, foes and misfortunes,
อะเนกา อันตะรายาปิ วินัสสันตุ จะ เตชะสา.
anekā antarāyāpi vinassantu ca tejasā.
and manifold obstacles — may they be destroyed by this power.
ชะยะสิทธิ ธะนัง ลาภัง โสตถิ ภาค๎ยัง สุขัง พะลัง
jayasiddhi dhanaṃ lābhaṃ sotthi bhāgyaṃ sukhaṃ balaṃ
Success in victory, wealth, gain, wellbeing, good fortune, happiness, strength,
สิริ อายุ จะ วัณโณ จะ โภคัง วุฑฒี จะ ยะสะวา
siri āyu ca vaṇṇo ca bhogaṃ vuḍḍhī ca yasavā
splendour, long life, beauty, possessions, increase and renown,
สะตะวัสสา จะ อายู จะ ชีวะสิทธี ภะวันตุ เต.
satavassā ca āyū ca jīvasiddhī bhavantu te.
a hundred years of life, and success in living — may these be yours.
ภะวะตุ สัพพะมังคะลัง รักขันตุ สัพพะเทวะตา
bhavatu sabbamaṅgalaṃ rakkhantu sabbadevatā
May every blessing be, may all the devas protect you;
สัพพะพุทธานุภาเวนะ สะทา โสตถี ภะวันตุ เต.
sabbabuddhānubhāvena sadā sotthī bhavantu te.
by the power of all the Buddhas, may you always be well.
ภะวะตุ สัพพะมังคะลัง รักขันตุ สัพพะเทวะตา
bhavatu sabbamaṅgalaṃ rakkhantu sabbadevatā
May every blessing be, may all the devas protect you;
สัพพะธัมมานุภาเวนะ สะทา โสตถี ภะวันตุ เต.
sabbadhammānubhāvena sadā sotthī bhavantu te.
by the power of the whole Dhamma, may you always be well.
ภะวะตุ สัพพะมังคะลัง รักขันตุ สัพพะเทวะตา
bhavatu sabbamaṅgalaṃ rakkhantu sabbadevatā
May every blessing be, may all the devas protect you;

27. กาละทานะสุตตะคาถา Kāladānasuttagāthā Verses from the Kāladāna Sutta — giving at the right time

กาเล ทะทันติ สะปัญญา วะทัญญู วีตะมัจฉะรา
kāle dadanti sapaññā vadaññū vītamaccharā
The wise give at the right time — responsive, free from meanness.
กาเลนะ ทินนัง อะริเยสุ อุชุภูเตสุ ตาทิสุ.
kālena dinnaṃ ariyesu ujubhūtesu tādisu.
Given at the right time to the noble ones, upright and unshaken,
วิปปะสันนะมะนา ตัสสะ วิปุลา โหติ ทักขิณา
vippasannamanā tassa vipulā hoti dakkhiṇā
the gift of one whose mind is clear and bright becomes abundant.
เย ตัตถะ อะนุโมทันติ เวยยาวัจจัง กะโรนติ วา.
ye tattha anumodanti veyyāvaccaṃ karonti vā.
Those who rejoice in it there, or who lend their service,
นะ เตนะ ทักขิณา โอนา เตปิ ปุญญัสสะ ภาคิโน
na tena dakkhiṇā onā tepi puññassa bhāgino
do not thereby lessen the gift; they too share in the merit.
ตัส๎มา ทะเท อัปปะฏิวานะจิตโต ยัตถะ ทินนัง มะหัปผะลัง
tasmā dade appaṭivānacitto yattha dinnaṃ mahapphalaṃ
So let one give with an unhesitating mind, where what is given bears great fruit.
ปุญญานิ ปะระโลกัส๎มิง ปะติฏฐา โหนติ ปาณินันติ.
puññāni paralokasmiṃ patiṭṭhā honti pāṇinanti.
Merits are a support for living beings in the world beyond.
กาละทานะสุตตะคาถา นิฏฐิตา
kāladānasuttagāthā niṭṭhitā
