ตัมมะยัง ภะคะวันตัง สะธัมมัง สะสังฆัง,
Tammayaṃ bhagavantaṃ sadhammaṃ sasaṅghaṃ,
to that Blessed One, with his Dhamma and his Sangha,
อิเมหิ สักกาเรหิ ยะถาระหัง อาโรปิเตหิ อะภิปูชะยิต๎วา
Imehi sakkārehi yathārahaṃ āropitehi abhipūjayitvā
having made offering with these gifts, set out as befits them,
อะภิวาทะนัง กะริมหา.
Abhivādanaṃ karimhā.
and having paid our respects,
หันทะทานิ มะยัง ตัง ภะคะวันตัง วาจายะ อะภิถุตุง,
Handadāni mayaṃ taṃ bhagavantaṃ vācāya abhithutuṃ,
let us now, in words, extol that Blessed One,
ปุพพะภาคะนะมะการัง กะโรมะ เส.

ตัง โข ปะนะ ภะคะวันตัง เอวัง กัล๎ยาโณ กิตติสัทโท อัพภุคคะโต,
Taṃ kho pana bhagavantaṃ evaṃ kalyāṇo kittisaddo abbhuggato,

อิติปิ โส ภะคะวา,
Itipi so bhagavā,
So indeed is he, the Blessed One —
อะระหัง สัมมาสัมพุทโธ,
Arahaṃ sammāsambuddho,
worthy, perfectly enlightened by himself,
วิชชาจะระณะสัมปันโน สุคะโต โลกะวิทู อะนุตตะโร ปุริสะทัมมะสาระถิ สัตถา เทวะมะนุสสานัง พุทโธ ภะคะวาติ.
Vijjācaraṇa-sampanno sugato lokavidū anuttaro purisadamma-sārathi satthā deva-manussānaṃ buddho bhagavāti.
accomplished in knowledge and conduct, well-farer, knower of the worlds, unsurpassed trainer of those who can be trained, teacher of gods and humans, the Awakened One, the Blessed One.
หยุดระลึกถึงพระพุทธคุณสักครู่น้อยหนึ่ง แล้วประธานกล่าวเชิญชวนสวดสรรเสริญพระพุทธคุณต่อไปว่า หันทะ มะยัง พุทธาภิคีติง กะโรมะ เส. รองประธานขึ้นต้นบทว่า พุทธ์วา นอกนั้นรับต่อ ระหันตะวะระตาทิคุณาภิยุตโต ฯเปฯ พร้อมกันไป หยุดตามจุดลูกน้ำดังนี้. Pause a little while to recollect the qualities of the Buddha. Then the leader gives the invitation to go on and chant the praise of those qualities, saying: Handa mayaṃ buddhābhigītiṃ karoma se. The Buddha, joined to the highest qualities, arahantship foremost among them,
สุทธาภิญาณะกะรุณาหิ สะมาคะตัตโต,
Suddhābhiñāṇa-karuṇāhi samāgatatto,
in whose being purity, higher knowing and compassion have come together,
โพเธสิ โย สุชะนะตัง กะมะลังวะ สูโร,
Bodhesi yo sujanataṃ kamalaṃva sūro,
who awakened the good folk as the sun awakens the lotus,
วันทามะหัง ตะมะระณัง สิระสา ชิเนนทัง.
Vandāmahaṃ tamaraṇaṃ sirasā jinendaṃ.
that Peaceful One, Lord of Conquerors, I salute with my head.
พุทโธ โย สัพพะปาณีนัง สะระณัง เขมะมุตตะมัง
Buddho yo sabbapāṇīnaṃ saraṇaṃ khemamuttamaṃ
The Buddha, who is for all breathing things the refuge, safe and supreme,
ปะฐะมานุสสะติฏฐานัง วันทามิ ตัง สิเรนะหัง.
Paṭhamānussatiṭṭhānaṃ vandāmi taṃ sirenahaṃ.
the first of the objects of recollection — him I revere with my head.
พุทธัสสาหัส๎มิ ทาโส วะ พุทโธ เม สามิกิสสะโร
Buddhassāhasmi dāso va buddho me sāmikissaro
I am the Buddha's servant; the Buddha is my lord and master.
พุทโธ ทุกขัสสะ ฆาตา จะ วิธาตา จะ หิตัสสะ เม.
Buddho dukkhassa ghātā ca vidhātā ca hitassa me.
The Buddha destroys suffering, and brings about what is for my welfare.
พุทธัสสาหัง นิยยาเทมิ สะรีรัญชีวิตัญจิทัง
Buddhassāhaṃ niyyādemi sarīrañjīvitañcidaṃ
