เอเตสัง อานุภาเวนะ สัพพะโสตถี ภะวันตุ โน.
Etesaṃ ānubhāvena sabbasotthī bhavantu no.
and by their power, may every blessing be ours.
อิจเจวะมัจจันตะนะมัสสะเนยยัง,
Iccevamaccantanamassaneyyaṃ,
Thus, that which is supremely worthy of salutation —
นะมัสสะมาโน ระตะนัตตะยัง ยัง,
Namassamāno ratanattayaṃ yaṃ,
saluting that Triple Gem,
ปุญญาภิสันทัง วิปุลัง อะลัตถัง,
Puññābhisandaṃ vipulaṃ alatthaṃ,
I have gained an abundant stream of merit;
ตัสสานุภาเวนะ หะตันตะราโย.
Tassānubhāvena hatantarāyo.
by the power of that, may my obstacles be destroyed.

การสวด พุทธะมังคะละคาถา นี้ บางครั้งสวดเป็นทำนองมคธ บางครั้งสวดเป็นทำนอง สรภัญญวิธี แล้วแต่ผู้เป็นประธาน ถ้าจะสวดเป็นทำนอง สรภัญญวิธี ประธานกล่าวเชิญว่า หันทะ มะยัง สะระภัญเญนะ พุทธะมังคะละคาถาโย ภะณามะ เส. ภิกษุรูปหนึ่งที่มีเสียงดี ขึ้นเป็นทำนองสรภัญญวิธีว่า สัมพุทโธ ทิปะทัง เสฏโฐ นอกนั้นรับพร้อมกันว่า นิสินโน เจวะ มัชฌิเม ฯเปฯ เป็นลำดับไปจนจบ These Buddhamaṅgala verses are sometimes chanted in the Magadha manner and sometimes in the sarabhañña manner, as the leader decides. If they are to be chanted in the sarabhañña manner, the leader gives the invitation: Handa mayaṃ sarabhaññena buddhamaṅgalagāthāyo bhaṇāma se. One monk with a good voice raises the sarabhañña tune with Sambuddho dipadaṃ seṭṭho, and the rest take it up together with Nisinno ceva majjhime and so on, in order, through to the end.
ต่อจากนี้ ประธานกล่าวเชิญชวนสวด สีลุทเทสะปาฐะ ว่า หันทะ มะยัง สีลุทเทสะปาฐัง ภะณามะ เส. รองประธานขึ้นต้นบทว่า ภาสิตะมิทัง นอกนั้นรับต่อ เตนะ ภะคะวะตา ชานะตา ปัสสะตา อะระหะตา สัมมาสัมพุทเธนะ ฯเปฯ พร้อมกันไป หยุดตามจุดลูกน้ำ ดังนี้. After this the leader gives the invitation to chant the Sīluddesapāṭha, saying: Handa mayaṃ sīluddesapāṭhaṃ bhaṇāma se. The deputy leader begins the passage with Bhāsitamidaṃ, and the rest take it up from Tena bhagavatā jānatā passatā arahatā sammāsambuddhena and so on, going on together, pausing at each comma, thus.

ภาสิตะมิทัง เตนะ ภะคะวะตา ชานะตา ปัสสะตา อะระหะตา สัมมาสัมพุทเธนะ,
Bhāsitamidaṃ tena bhagavatā jānatā passatā arahatā sammāsambuddhena,
This was said by the Blessed One, who knows and sees, the Worthy One, perfectly enlightened by himself:
สัมปันนะสีลา ภิกขะเว วิหะระถะ สัมปันนะปาฏิโมกขา,
Sampannasīlā bhikkhave viharatha sampannapāṭimokkhā,
Dwell, monks, accomplished in virtue, accomplished in the Pāṭimokkha;
ปาฏิโมกขะสังวะระสังวุตา วิหะระถะ อาจาระโคจะระสัมปันนา,
Pāṭimokkhasaṃvarasaṃvutā viharatha ācāragocarasampannā,
dwell restrained by the restraint of the Pāṭimokkha, accomplished in conduct and in resort;
อะณุมัตเตสุ วัชเชสุ ภะยะทัสสาวี สะมาทายะ สิกขะถะ สิกขาปะเทสูติ.
Aṇumattesu vajjesu bhayadassāvī samādāya sikkhatha sikkhāpadesūti.
seeing danger in the slightest fault, train yourselves in the rules of training you have undertaken.
ตัส๎มาติหัมเหหิ สิกขิตัพพัง,
Tasmātihamhehi sikkhitabbaṃ,
Therefore we should train ourselves thus:
สัมปันนะสีลา วิหะริสสามะ สัมปันนะปาฏิโมกขา,
Sampannasīlā viharissāma sampannapāṭimokkhā,
We shall dwell accomplished in virtue, accomplished in the Pāṭimokkha;
ปาฏิโมกขะสังวะระสังวุตา วิหะริสสามะ อาจาระโคจะระสัมปันนา,
Pāṭimokkhasaṃvarasaṃvutā viharissāma ācāragocarasampannā,
we shall dwell restrained by the restraint of the Pāṭimokkha, accomplished in conduct and in resort;
อะณุมัตเตสุ วัชเชสุ ภะยะทัสสาวี สะมาทายะ สิกขิสสามะ สิกขาปะเทสูติ.

การสวด สีลุทเทสะปาฐะ นี้ สวดเฉพาะภิกษุ สามเณรให้หยุดเสียไม่ต้องสวด เมื่อภิกษุสวด สีลุทเทสะปาฐะ จบแล้ว สามเณรสวด สามเณรสิกขาต่อไป ตามระเบียบดังนี้ สามเณรรูปหนึ่ง สวดบทขัด สิกขาบท 10 คือ คำเชิญเป็นทำนองสรภัญญวิธี หยุดตามจุดลูกน้ำดังนี้. This Sīluddesapāṭha is chanted by bhikkhus only; sāmaṇeras are to stop and not chant it. When the bhikkhus have finished the Sīluddesapāṭha, the sāmaṇeras go on to chant the Sāmaṇerasikkhā, in this order: one sāmaṇera chants the introductory verse to the ten training rules, that is, the invitation in the sarabhañña manner, pausing at each comma, thus.
