อิมินา ปุญญะกัมเมนะ อุปัชฌายา คุณุตตะรา
Iminā puññakammena upajjhāyā guṇuttarā
By this meritorious deed — may my preceptors, of the highest virtue,
อาจะริยูปะการา จะ มาตาปิตา จะ ญาตะกา.
Ācariyūpakārā ca mātāpitā ca ñātakā.
the teachers who have helped me, my mother and father and kinsfolk,
สุริโย จันทิมา ราชา คุณะวันตา นะราปิ จะ
Suriyo candimā rājā guṇavantā narāpi ca
the sun, the moon, the king, and people of virtue too,
พ๎รัห๎มะมารา จะ อินทา จะ โลกะปาลา จะ เทวะตา.
Brahmamārā ca indā ca lokapālā ca devatā.
brahmās and māras and indras, the guardians of the world and the devas,
ยะโม มิตตา มะนุสสา จะ มัชฌัตตา เวริกาปิ จะ
Yamo mittā manussā ca majjhattā verikāpi ca
Yama, friends and human beings, the indifferent and the hostile alike —
สัพเพ สัตตา สุขี โหนตุ ปุญญานิ ปะกะตานิ เม.
Sabbe sattā sukhī hontu puññāni pakatāni me.
may all beings be happy. May the merits I have made
สุขัง จะ ติวิธัง เทนตุ ขิปปัง ปาเปถะ โว มะตัง.
Sukhaṃ ca tividhaṃ dentu khippaṃ pāpetha vo mataṃ.
give happiness of the three kinds, and swiftly bring you to what you intend.
อิมินา ปุญญะกัมเมนะ อิมินา อุททิเสนะ จะ
Iminā puññakammena iminā uddisena ca
By this meritorious deed and by this dedication,
ขิปปาหัง สุละเภ เจวะ ตัณหุปาทานะเฉทะนัง.
Khippāhaṃ sulabhe ceva taṇhupādānachedanaṃ.
may I swiftly come to the cutting off of craving and clinging.
เย สันตาเน หินา ธัมมา ยาวะ นิพพานะโต มะมัง
Ye santāne hinā dhammā yāva nibbānato mamaṃ
Whatever base states are in my mind-stream, until I reach nibbāna,
นัสสันตุ สัพพะทา เยวะ ยัตถะ ชาโต ภะเว ภะเว.
Nassantu sabbadā yeva yattha jāto bhave bhave.
may they perish always, wherever I am born, in birth after birth.
อุชุจิตตัง สะติปัญญา สัลเลโข วิริยัมหินา
Ujucittaṃ satipaññā sallekho viriyamhinā
May uprightness of mind, mindfulness and wisdom, austerity and energy be mine;
มารา ละภันตุ โนกาสัง กาตุญจะ วิริเยสุ เม.
Mārā labhantu nokāsaṃ kātuñca viriyesu me.
and may the māras find no opening to act against my efforts.
พุทธาธิปะวะโร นาโถ ธัมโม นาโถ วะรุตตะโม
Buddhādhipavaro nātho dhammo nātho varuttamo
The Buddha, the foremost refuge; the Dhamma, the most excellent refuge;
นาโถ ปัจเจกะพุทโธ จะ สังโฆ นาโถตตะโร มะมัง.
Nātho paccekabuddho ca saṅgho nāthottaro mamaṃ.
the Paccekabuddha, a refuge; and the Sangha, my highest refuge.
เตโสตตะมานุภาเวนะ มาโรกาสัง ละภันตุ มา.
Tesottamānubhāvena mārokāsaṃ labhantu mā.
By the power of these supreme ones, may the māras find no opening at all.
อุททิสสะนาธิฏฐานะคาถา นิฏฐิตา

เมื่อสวด อุททิสสะนาธิฏฐานะคาถา จบแล้ว พึงนั่งสงบแผ่ส่วนบุญกุศลแด่ท่านบรรพบุรุษบุรพาจารย์ และท่านผู้มีพระคุณอื่น ๆ ตลอดถึงสรรพสัตว์ทุกชั้นชาติสักครู่หนึ่ง แล้วนั่งคุกเข่ากราบด้วยเบญจางคประดิษฐ์ 3 หน พร้อมๆ กัน ประธานสั่งเลิกประชุม เป็นอันเสร็จพิธีทำวัตรสวดมนต์ภาคเย็นเท่านี้. When the Uddissanādhiṭṭhānagāthā has been chanted to its end, one should sit quietly and share the merit with forebears and former teachers, and with all others to whom gratitude is owed, and on to all beings of every station, for a short while. Then kneel and bow with the fivefold prostration three times, all together. The presiding monk dismisses the assembly, and with this the evening service of devotions and chanting is complete.
