ตัส๎มา หิ เน รักขะถะ อัปปะมัตตา.

Tasmā hi ne rakkhatha appamattā.

therefore protect them, being diligent.

ยังกิญจิ วิตตัง อิธะ วา หุรัง วา

Yaṅkiñci vittaṃ idha vā huraṃ vā

Whatever treasure there is, here or beyond,

สัคเคสุ วา ยัง ระตะนัง ปะณีตัง

Saggesu vā yaṃ ratanaṃ paṇītaṃ

or whatever excellent jewel is in the heavens,

นะ โน สะมัง อัตถิ ตะถาคะเตนะ

Na no samaṃ atthi tathāgatena

there is none among them equal to the Tathāgata.

อิทัมปิ พุทเธ ระตะนัง ปะณีตัง.

Idampi buddhe ratanaṃ paṇītaṃ.

This too is an excellent jewel in the Buddha.

เอเตนะ สัจเจนะ สุวัตถิ โหตุ.

Etena saccena suvatthi hotu.

By this truth, may there be well-being.

ขะยัง วิราคัง อะมะตัง ปะณีตัง

Khayaṃ virāgaṃ amataṃ paṇītaṃ

The destruction, the fading of desire, the deathless, the excellent —

ยะทัชฌะคา สัก๎ยะมุนี สะมาหิโต

Yadajjhagā sakyamunī samāhito

which the Sakyan sage, composed, attained;

นะ เตนะ ธัมเมนะ สะมัตถิ กิญจิ

Na tena dhammena samatthi kiñci

there is nothing at all equal to that Dhamma.

อิทัมปิ ธัมเม ระตะนัง ปะณีตัง

Idampi dhamme ratanaṃ paṇītaṃ

This too is an excellent jewel in the Dhamma.

เอเตนะ สัจเจนะ สุวัตถิ โหตุ.

Etena saccena suvatthi hotu.

By this truth, may there be well-being.

ยัมพุทธะเสฏโฐ ปะริวัณณะยี สุจิง

Yambuddhaseṭṭho parivaṇṇayī suciṃ

That purity which the supreme Buddha praised,

สะมาธิมานันตะริกัญญะมาหุ

Samādhimānantarikaññamāhu

the concentration they call 'without interval' —

สะมาธินา เตนะ สะโม นะ วิชชะติ

Samādhinā tena samo na vijjati

no concentration equal to that is found.

อิทัมปิ ธัมเม ระตะนัง ปะณีตัง

Idampi dhamme ratanaṃ paṇītaṃ

This too is an excellent jewel in the Dhamma.

เอเตนะ สัจเจนะ สุวัตถิ โหตุ.

Etena saccena suvatthi hotu.

By this truth, may there be well-being.

เย ปุคคะลา อัฏฐะ สะตัง ปะสัตถา

Ye puggalā aṭṭha sataṃ pasatthā

Those eight persons praised by the good,

จัตตาริ เอตานิ ยุคานิ โหนติ

Cattāri etāni yugāni honti

who make these four pairs;

เต ทักขิเณยยา สุคะตัสสะ สาวะกา

Te dakkhiṇeyyā sugatassa sāvakā

they are the Well-gone One's disciples, worthy of offerings;

เอเตสุ ทินนานิ มะหัปผะลานิ

Etesu dinnāni mahapphalāni

what is given to them bears great fruit.

อิทัมปิ สังเฆ ระตะนัง ปะณีตัง

Idampi saṅghe ratanaṃ paṇītaṃ

This too is an excellent jewel in the Saṅgha.

เอเตนะ สัจเจนะ สุวัตถิ โหตุ.

Etena saccena suvatthi hotu.

By this truth, may there be well-being.

เย สุปปะยุตตา มะนะสา ทัฬ๎เหนะ

Ye suppayuttā manasā daḷhena

Those who, with a firm mind, are well applied

นิกกามิโน โคตะมะสาสะนัมหิ

Nikkāmino gotamasāsanamhi

and free of longing, in Gotama's dispensation;

เต ปัตติปัตตา อะมะตัง วิคัยหะ

Te pattipattā amataṃ vigayha

they have reached the attainment, plunged into the deathless,

ลัทธา มุธา นิพพุติง ภุญชะมานา

Laddhā mudhā nibbutiṃ bhuñjamānā

and having gained it for nothing, enjoy the peace;
