ปุญญะลาภัง มะหาเตชัง วัณณะกิตติมะหายะสัง
Puññalābhaṃ mahātejaṃ vaṇṇakittimahāyasaṃ
Gain of merit, great majesty, beauty, fame and great renown —
สัพพะสัตตะหิตัง ชาตัง ตัง สุณันตุ อะเสสะโต.
Sabbasattahitaṃ jātaṃ taṃ suṇantu asesato.
arisen for the welfare of all beings: let them listen to it, every one, without exception.
อัตตัปปะระหิตัง ชาตัง ปะริตตันตัมภะณามะ เห.
Attapparahitaṃ jātaṃ parittantambhaṇāma he.
Arisen for the good of self and others: let us now recite that paritta, friends.

ยันทุนนิมิตตัง อะวะมังคะลัญจะ
Yandunnimittaṃ avamaṅgalañca
Whatever ill omen there is, and whatever is inauspicious,
โย จามะนาโป สะกุณัสสะ สัทโท
Yo cāmanāpo sakuṇassa saddo
and whatever cry of a bird is unwelcome,
ปาปัคคะโห ทุสสุปินัง อะกันตัง
Pāpaggaho dussupinaṃ akantaṃ
an evil planet, an unpleasant bad dream —
พุทธานุภาเวนะ วินาสะเมนตุ.
Buddhānubhāvena vināsamentu.
by the power of the Buddha may they come to nothing.

Dukkhappattā ca niddukkhā bhayappattā ca nibbhayā
May those who have met with suffering be free of suffering, those who have met with fear be free of fear,
โสกัปปัตตา จะ นิสโสกา โหนตุ สัพเพปิ ปาณิโน.
Sokappattā ca nissokā hontu sabbepi pāṇino.
those who have met with grief be free of grief — may every living being be so.
เอตตาวะตา จะ อัมเหหิ สัมภะตัง ปุญญะสัมปะทัง
Ettāvatā ca amhehi sambhataṃ puññasampadaṃ
And by this much of the attainment of merit gathered by us,
สัพเพ เทวานุโมทันตุ สัพพะสัมปัตติสิทธิยา.
Sabbe devānumodantu sabbasampattisiddhiyā.
may all the devas rejoice, for the winning of every blessing.
ทานัง ทะทันตุ สัทธายะ สีลัง รักขันตุ สัพพะทา
Dānaṃ dadantu saddhāya sīlaṃ rakkhantu sabbadā
May they give gifts with faith, may they keep the precepts always,
ภาวะนาภิระตา โหนตุ คัจฉันตุ เทวะตาคะตา.
Bhāvanābhiratā hontu gacchantu devatāgatā.
may they delight in meditation; and may the devas who have come now go.
สัพเพ พุทธา พะลัปปัตตา ปัจเจกานัญจะ ยัง พะลัง
Sabbe buddhā balappattā paccekānañca yaṃ balaṃ
By all the Buddhas who have won strength, and whatever strength the Paccekabuddhas have,
อะระหันตานัญจะ เตเชนะ รักขัง พันธามิ สัพพะโส.
Arahantānañca tejena rakkhaṃ bandhāmi sabbaso.
and by the majesty of the arahants, I bind a protection on every side.
