อะระหัง สัมมาสัมพุทโธ อุตตะมัง ธัมมะมัชฌะคา

Arahaṃ sammāsambuddho uttamaṃ dhammamajjhagā

The Worthy One, the Perfectly Self-Awakened, attained the supreme Dhamma

มะหาสังฆัง ปะโพเธสิ อิจเจตัง ระตะนัตตะยัง.

Mahāsaṅghaṃ pabodhesi iccetaṃ ratanattayaṃ.

and awakened the great Sangha — and so there is this Triple Gem.

พุทโธ ธัมโม สังโฆ จาติ นานาโหนตัมปิ วัตถุโต

Buddho dhammo saṅgho cāti nānā hontampi vatthuto

Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha, though they are separate as things,

อัญญะมัญญาวิโยคาวะ เอกีภูตัมปะนัตถะโต.

Aññamaññāviyogāva ekībhūtampanatthato.

are inseparable one from another, and in meaning they are one.

พุทโธ ธัมมัสสะ โพเธตา ธัมโม สังเฆนะ ธาริโต.

Buddho dhammassa bodhetā dhammo saṅghena dhārito.

The Buddha is the one who awakens to the Dhamma; the Dhamma is upheld by the Sangha.

สังโฆ จะ สาวะโก พุทธัสสะ อิจเจกาพัทธะเมวิทัง.

Saṅgho ca sāvako buddhassa iccekābaddhamevidaṃ.

And the Sangha is the Buddha's disciple — so this is bound together as one.

วิสุทธัง อุตตะมัง เสฏฐัง โลกัส๎มิง ระตะนัตตะยัง

Visuddhaṃ uttamaṃ seṭṭhaṃ lokasmiṃ ratanattayaṃ

Pure, supreme and most excellent in the world is the Triple Gem;

สังวัตตะติ ปะสันนานัง อัตตะโน สุทธิกามินัง.

Saṃvattati pasannānaṃ attano suddhikāminaṃ.

it works for those with faith, who desire purity for themselves.

สัมมา ปะฏิปัชชันตานัง ปะระมายะ วิสุทธิยา

Sammā paṭipajjantānaṃ paramāya visuddhiyā

For those practising rightly it leads to the highest purity —

วิสุทธิ สัพพะเก๎ลเสหิ โหติ ทุกเขหิ นิพพุติ.

Visuddhi sabbaklesehi hoti dukkhehi nibbuti.

purity from all the defilements, and the cooling of all sufferings.

นิพพานัง ปะระมัง สุญญัง นิพพานัง ปะระมัง สุขัง

Nibbānaṃ paramaṃ suññaṃ nibbānaṃ paramaṃ sukhaṃ

Nibbāna is the supreme emptiness; Nibbāna is the supreme happiness.

เอเตนะ สัจจะวัชเชนะ สุวัตถิ โหตุ สัพพะทา.

Etena saccavajjena suvatthi hotu sabbadā.

By the speaking of this truth, may there be well-being always.

ระตะนัตตะยานุภาเวนะ ระตะนัตตะยะเตชะสา

Ratanattayānubhāvena ratanattayatejasā

By the power of the Triple Gem, by the majesty of the Triple Gem,

อุปัททะวันตะรายา จะ อุปะสัคคา จะ สัพพะโส.

Upaddavantarāyā ca upasaggā ca sabbaso.

may misfortunes and dangers, and obstacles of every kind,

มา กะทาจิ สัมผุสิงสุ รัฏฐัง ส๎ยามานะเมวิทัง

Mā kadāci samphusiṃsu raṭṭhaṃ syāmānamevidaṃ

never once touch this realm of the Siamese.

อาโรคิยะสุขัญเจวะ ตะโต ทีฆายุตาปิ จะ.

Ārogiyasukhañceva tato dīghāyutāpi ca.

And health and happiness, and long life after that,

ตัพพัตถูนัญจะ สัมปัตตะโย สุขัง สัพพัตถะ โสตถิ จะ

Tabbatthūnañca sampattayo sukhaṃ sabbattha sotthi ca

and the attainments of those good things, and happiness and safety everywhere —

ภะวันตุ สัมปะวัตตันตุ ส๎ยามานัง รัฏฐะปาลินัง.

Bhavantu sampavattantu syāmānaṃ raṭṭhapālinaṃ.

may these come to be and continue for the rulers of the Siamese.

เต จะ รัฏฐัญจะ รักขันตุ ส๎ยามะรัฏฐิกะเทวะตา

Te ca raṭṭhañca rakkhantu syāmaraṭṭhikadevatā

And may the devas of the Siamese realm guard both them and the realm,

ส๎ยามานัง รัฏฐะปาลีหิ ธัมมามิเสหิ ปูชิตา.

Syāmānaṃ raṭṭhapālīhi dhammāmisehi pūjitā.

being honoured by the rulers of the Siamese with gifts of Dhamma and of goods.

สิทธะมัตถุ สิทธะมัตถุ สิทธะมัตถุ อิทัง ผะลัง

Siddhamatthu siddhamatthu siddhamatthu idaṃ phalaṃ

May it be accomplished, may it be accomplished, may it be accomplished — this fruit,

เอตัส๎มิง ระตะนัตตะยัส๎มิง สัมปะสาทะนะเจตะโส.

Etasmiṃ ratanattayasmiṃ sampasādanacetaso.

for one whose heart is settled in faith in this Triple Gem.
