อาระตี วิระตี ปาปา มัชชะปานา จะ สัญญะโม

Āratī viratī pāpā majjapānā ca saññamo

Refraining and abstaining from evil, and restraint from intoxicants,

อัปปะมาโท จะ ธัมเมสุ เอตัมมังคะละมุตตะมัง.

Appamādo ca dhammesu etammaṅgalamuttamaṃ.

and diligence in wholesome states — this is the highest blessing.

คาระโว จะ นิวาโต จะ สันตุฏฐี จะ กะตัญญุตา

Gāravo ca nivāto ca santuṭṭhī ca kataññutā

Reverence, humility, contentment and gratitude,

กาเลนะ ธัมมัสสะวะนัง เอตัมมังคะละมุตตะมัง.

Kālena dhammassavanaṃ etammaṅgalamuttamaṃ.

and hearing the Dhamma at the right time — this is the highest blessing.

ขันตี จะ โสวะจัสสะตา สะมะณานัญจะ ทัสสะนัง

Khantī ca sovacassatā samaṇānañca dassanaṃ

Patience, willingness to be corrected, the sight of contemplatives,

กาเลนะ ธัมมะสากัจฉา เอตัมมังคะละมุตตะมัง.

Kālena dhammasākacchā etammaṅgalamuttamaṃ.

and discussion of the Dhamma at the right time — this is the highest blessing.

ตะโป จะ พ๎รัห๎มะจะริยัญจะ อะริยะสัจจานะ ทัสสะนัง

Tapo ca brahmacariyañca ariyasaccāna dassanaṃ

Austerity, the holy life, seeing the noble truths,

นิพพานะสัจฉิกิริยา จะ เอตัมมังคะละมุตตะมัง.

Nibbānasacchikiriyā ca etammaṅgalamuttamaṃ.

and the realisation of Nibbāna — this is the highest blessing.

ผุฏฐัสสะ โลกะธัมเมหิ จิตตัง ยัสสะ นะ กัมปะติ

Phuṭṭhassa lokadhammehi cittaṃ yassa na kampati

The mind that does not shake when touched by the ways of the world,

อะโสกัง วิระชัง เขมัง เอตัมมังคะละมุตตะมัง.

Asokaṃ virajaṃ khemaṃ etammaṅgalamuttamaṃ.

sorrowless, stainless, secure — this is the highest blessing.

เอตาทิสานิ กัต๎วานะ สัพพัตถะมะปะราชิตา

Etādisāni katvāna sabbatthamaparājitā

Having done such things, undefeated everywhere,

สัพพัตถะ โสตถิง คัจฉันติ ตันเตสัง มังคะละมุตตะมันติ.

Sabbattha sotthiṃ gacchanti tantesaṃ maṅgalamuttamanti.

they go everywhere in safety — for them this is the highest blessing.

ยานีธะ ภูตานิ สะมาคะตานิ

Yānīdha bhūtāni samāgatāni

Whatever beings are gathered here,

ภุมมานิ วา ยานิวะ อันตะลิกเข

Bhummāni vā yāniva antalikkhe

whether of the earth or of the sky,

สัพเพ วะ ภูตา สุมะนา ภะวันตุ

Sabbe va bhūtā sumanā bhavantu

may all those beings be glad,

อะโถปิ สักกัจจะ สุณันตุ ภาสิตัง.

Athopi sakkacca suṇantu bhāsitaṃ.

and moreover listen attentively to what is said.

ตัส๎มา หิ ภูตา นิสาเมถะ สัพเพ

Tasmā hi bhūtā nisāmetha sabbe

Therefore, all you beings, attend:

เมตตัง กะโรถะ มานุสิยา ปะชายะ

Mettaṃ karotha mānusiyā pajāya

show loving-kindness to the human race,

ทิวา จะ รัตโต จะ หะรันติ เย พะลิง

Divā ca ratto ca haranti ye baliṃ

who day and night bring you offerings;

ตัส๎มา หิ เน รักขะถะ อัปปะมัตตา.

Tasmā hi ne rakkhatha appamattā.

therefore guard them diligently.

ยังกิญจิ วิตตัง อิธะ วา หุรัง วา

Yaṃkiñci vittaṃ idha vā huraṃ vā

Whatever wealth there is here or beyond,

สัคเคสุ วา ยัง ระตะนัง ปะณีตัง

Saggesu vā yaṃ ratanaṃ paṇītaṃ

or whatever excellent jewel is in the heavens,

นะ โน สะมัง อัตถิ ตะถาคะเตนะ

Na no samaṃ atthi tathāgatena

there is none equal to the Tathāgata.
