อิทธิมันโต ชุติมันโต วัณณะวันโต ยะสัสสิโน

Iddhimanto jutimanto vaṇṇavanto yasassino

possessed of power, of radiance, of beauty and of renown,

โมทะมานา อะภิกกามุง ภิกขูนัง สะมิติง วะนัง.

Modamānā abhikkāmuṃ bhikkhūnaṃ samitiṃ vanaṃ.

came rejoicing to the wood, to the assembly of bhikkhus.

สะมานา มะหาสะมานา มานุสา มานุสุตตะมา

Samānā mahāsamānā mānusā mānusuttamā

The Samāna devas and the Mahāsamānas, the Mānusas and Mānusuttamas,

ขิฑฑาปะทูสิกา อาคู อาคู มะโนปะทูสิกา.

Khiḍḍāpadūsikā āgū āgū manopadūsikā.

the devas corrupted by play came, and those corrupted by mind came too.

อะถาคู หะระโย เทวา เย จะ โลหิตะวาสิโน

Athāgū harayo devā ye ca lohitavāsino

Then came the Haraya devas, and those who dwell in red,

ปาระคา มะหาปาระคา อาคู เทวา ยะสัสสิโน.

Pāragā mahāpāragā āgū devā yasassino.

the Pāragas and the Mahāpāragas came, devas of renown.

ทะเสเต ทะสะธา กายา สัพเพ นานัตตะวัณณิโน

Dasete dasadhā kāyā sabbe nānattavaṇṇino

These ten, ten kinds of hosts, all of them of varied hues,

อิทธิมันโต ชุติมันโต วัณณะวันโต ยะสัสสิโน.

Iddhimanto jutimanto vaṇṇavanto yasassino.

possessed of power, of radiance, of beauty and of renown,

โมทะมานา อะภิกกามุง ภิกขูนัง สะมิติง วะนัง.

Modamānā abhikkāmuṃ bhikkhūnaṃ samitiṃ vanaṃ.

came rejoicing to the wood, to the assembly of bhikkhus.

สุกกา กะรุมหา อะรุณา อาคู เวฆะนะสา สะหะ

Sukkā karumhā aruṇā āgū veghanasā saha

The Sukkas, the Karumhas and the Aruṇas came, and the Veghanasas with them,

โอทาตะคัยหา ปาโมกขา อาคู เทวา วิจักขะณา.

Odātagayhā pāmokkhā āgū devā vicakkhaṇā.

the Odātagayhas and the Pāmokkhas came, devas of clear sight.

สะทามัตตา หาระคะชา มิสสะกา จะ ยะสัสสิโน

Sadāmattā hāragajā missakā ca yasassino

The Sadāmattas and the Hāragajas, and the Missakas of renown,

ถะนะยัง อาคา ปะชุนโน โย ทิสา อะภิวัสสะติ.

Thanayaṃ āgā pajunno yo disā abhivassati.

and thundering came Pajunna, who rains upon the quarters.

ทะเสเต ทะสะธา กายา สัพเพ นานัตตะวัณณิโน

เขมิยา ตุสิตา ยามา กัฏฐะกา จะ ยะสัสสิโน

Khemiyā tusitā yāmā kaṭṭhakā ca yasassino

The Khemiyas, the Tusitas and the Yāmas, and the Kaṭṭhakas of renown,

ลัมพิตะกา ลามะเสฏฐา โชตินามา จะ อาสะวา.

Lambitakā lāmaseṭṭhā jotināmā ca āsavā.

the Lambitakas and the Lāmaseṭṭhas, the Jotināmas and the Āsavas.

นิมมานะระติโน อาคู อะถาคู ปะระนิมมิตา

Nimmānaratino āgū athāgū paranimmitā

The devas delighting in creation came, and then those who wield what others create.

ทะเสเต ทะสะธา กายา สัพเพ นานัตตะวัณณิโน.

Dasete dasadhā kāyā sabbe nānattavaṇṇino.

These ten, ten kinds of hosts, all of them of varied hues,

สัฏเฐเต เทวะนิกายา สัพเพ นานัตตะวัณณิโน

Saṭṭhete devanikāyā sabbe nānattavaṇṇino

These sixty orders of devas, all of them of varied hues,

นามัน์วะเยนะ อาคัญฉุง เย จัญเญ สะทิสา สะหะ.

Nāmanvayena āgañchuṃ ye caññe sadisā saha.

came each according to their name, and others like them came with them:

ปะวุตถะชาติมักขีลัง โอฆะติณณะมะนาสะวัง

Pavutthajātimakkhīlaṃ oghatiṇṇamanāsavaṃ

He whose birth is left behind, whose barb is drawn, who has crossed the flood and is without taints —

ทักเขโมฆะตะรัง นาคัง จันทังวะ อะสิตาติตัง.

Dakkhemoghataraṃ nāgaṃ candaṃva asitātitaṃ.

let us see the Nāga who has crossed the flood, like the moon come clear of cloud.
