แก้ส่องความตามรูปพยัญชนะ ว่า อะนิจฉะสัญญา หรือ อะนิฏฐะสัญญา เป็นแน่แล้ว จะทรงไว้ตามอรรถวรรณนา นั้นก็ชอบ. the emendation that throws light on the sense according to the letter — that it is certainly aniccha-saññā or aniṭṭha-saññā — then to keep it according to the commentary is proper.

ยาวะตา วัตตะเต โลโก อะเนกาการะจิตตะโก
Yāvatā vattate loko anekākāracittako
For as long as the world goes on, in its many-shaped variety,
ตาวะ ตัง อะนุปะริวัตตันติ เย ธัมมา สะหะจาริโน.
Tāva taṃ anuparivattanti ye dhammā sahacārino.
so long do those states that travel with it turn about it.
เย ธัมเม สะมุปายันโต โลโก อะนุปะริวัตตะเต
Ye dhamme samupāyanto loko anuparivattate
The states that the world, in taking them up, turns about —
เต ธัมมา โลกันตะคุณา โลกะธัมมาติ กิตติตา.
Te dhammā lokantaguṇā lokadhammāti kittitā.
those states, bound to the world's end, are called the worldly conditions.
โลกัสสิฏฐา อะนิฏฐา จะ อะนุโรธะวิโรธิกา
Lokassiṭṭhā aniṭṭhā ca anurodhavirodhikā
Welcome to the world and unwelcome, making for liking and aversion —
เยส๎วานุโรธะวิโรเธ วิปปะหันต๎วานะ ปัณฑิตา.
Yesvānurodhavirodhe vippahantvāna paṇḍitā.
and the wise, having cast out liking and aversion among them,
ปะริมุจจันติ ทุกขัส๎มา สัมมา ภะวัสสะ ปาระคู
Parimuccanti dukkhasmā sammā bhavassa pāragū
are freed from suffering, rightly gone beyond becoming.
เตสุ มิจฉาปะฏิปัตติ โยนิโส ปะฏิปัตติ จะ.
Tesu micchāpaṭipatti yoniso paṭipatti ca.
Wrong practice towards them, and wise practice too,
ยัส๎มิง เตนะ มุนินเทนะ สุตตันตัส๎มิง ปะกาสิตา
Yasmiṃ tena munindena suttantasmiṃ pakāsitā
were made known by that lord of sages in a discourse,
ญาณัง สัญจาระยิต๎วานะ ยะถาภูตัง ปะชานิตุง.
Ñāṇaṃ sañcārayitvāna yathābhūtaṃ pajānituṃ.
so that knowledge might range abroad and know things as they are.
สาธูนัง อัตถะสิทธัตถัง ตัง สุตตันตัง ภะณามะ เส.
Sādhūnaṃ atthasiddhatthaṃ taṃ suttantaṃ bhaṇāma se.

เอวัมเม สุตัง. เอกัง สะมะยัง ภะคะวา สาวัตถิยัง วิหะระติ เชตะวะเน อะนาถะปิณฑิกัสสะ อาราเม. ตัต๎ระ โข ภะคะวา ภิกขู อามันเตสิ ภิกขะโวติ. ภะทันเตติ, เต ภิกขู ภะคะวะโต ปัจจัสโสสุง. ภะคะวา เอตะทะโวจะ. อัฏฐิเม ภิกขะเว โลกะธัมมา โลกัง อะนุปะริวัตตันติ, โลโก จะ อัฏฐะ โลกะธัมเม อะนุปะริวัตตะติ.
Evamme sutaṃ. ekaṃ samayaṃ bhagavā sāvatthiyaṃ viharati jetavane anāthapiṇḍikassa ārāme. tatra kho bhagavā bhikkhū āmantesi bhikkhavoti. bhadanteti, te bhikkhū bhagavato paccassosuṃ. bhagavā etadavoca. aṭṭhime bhikkhave lokadhammā lokaṃ anuparivattanti, loko ca aṭṭha lokadhamme anuparivattati.
Thus have I heard. At one time the Blessed One was dwelling at Sāvatthī, in Jeta's Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika's park. There the Blessed One addressed the bhikkhus: 'Bhikkhus.' 'Venerable sir,' those bhikkhus replied to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said this: 'Bhikkhus, these eight worldly conditions turn about the world, and the world turns about these eight worldly conditions.
กะตะเม อัฏฐะ, ลาโภ จะ อะลาโภ จะ, ยะโส จะ อะยะโส จะ, นินทา จะ ปะสังสา จะ, สุขัญจะ ทุกขัญจะ. อิเม โข ภิกขะเว อัฏฐะ โลกะธัมมา โลกัง อะนุปะริวัตตันติ, โลโก จะ อิเม อัฏฐะ โลกะธัมเม อะนุปะริวัตตะติ.
Katame aṭṭha, lābho ca alābho ca, yaso ca ayaso ca, nindā ca pasaṃsā ca, sukhañca dukkhañca. ime kho bhikkhave aṭṭha lokadhammā lokaṃ anuparivattanti, loko ca ime aṭṭha lokadhamme anuparivattati.
Which eight? Gain and loss, fame and obscurity, blame and praise, pleasure and pain. These, bhikkhus, are the eight worldly conditions that turn about the world, and the world turns about these eight worldly conditions.
