อุททิสะนาธิฏฐานะคาถา Uddisanādhiṭṭhānagāthā The Verses of Dedication and Resolve
หันทะ มะยัง อุททิสะนาธิฏฐานะคาถาโย ภะณามะ เส.
Handa mayaṃ uddisanādhiṭṭhānagāthāyo bhaṇāma se.

อิมินา ปุญญะกัมเมนะ
Iminā puññakammena
ด้วยบุญนี้ อุทิศให้
By this deed of merit, dedicated
อุปัชฌายา คุณุตตะรา
Upajjhāyā guṇuttarā
อุปัชฌาย์ ผู้เลิศคุณ
to the preceptors of highest virtue,
อาจะริยูปะการา จะ
Ācariyūpakārā ca
แลอาจารย์ ผู้เกื้อหนุน
and to the teachers who have helped me,
มาตาปิตา จะ ญาตะกา
Mātāpitā ca ñātakā
ทั้งพ่อแม่ แลปวงญาติ
to mother and father and kinsfolk,
สุริโย จันทิมา ราชา
Suriyo candimā rājā
สูรย์จันทร์ แลราชา
to the sun and the moon and the king,
คุณะวันตา นะราปิ จะ
Guṇavantā narāpi ca
ผู้ทรงคุณ หรือสูงชาติ
to people of virtue and of high birth,
พ๎รัห๎มะมารา จะ อินทา จะ
Brahmamārā ca indā ca
พรหม มาร และอินทราช
to Brahmā, to Māra and to Indra,
โลกะปาลา จะ เทวะตา
Lokapālā ca devatā
ทั้งทวยเทพ และโลกบาล
to the guardians of the world and the deities,
ยะโม มิตตา มะนุสสา จะ
Yamo mittā manussā ca
ยมราช มนุษย์ มิตร
to Yama, to friends and to human beings,
มัชฌัตตา เวริกาปิ จะ
Majjhattā verikāpi ca
ผู้เป็นกลาง ผู้จองผลาญ
to the indifferent and to those who bear enmity —
สัพเพ สัตตา สุขี โหนตุ
Sabbe sattā sukhī hontu
ขอให้เป็นสุขศานติ์ ทุกทั่วหน้า อย่าทุกข์ทน
may all beings be happy, every one of them, and free from suffering.
ปุญญานิ ปะกะตานิ เม
Puññāni pakatāni me
บุญผองที่ข้าทำ จงช่วยอำนวยศุภผล
May the merits I have made bring about their good fruit,
สุขัง จะ ติวิธัง เทนตุ
Sukhaṃ ca tividhaṃ dentu
ให้สุขสามอย่างล้น
and grant happiness of the three kinds in abundance,
ขิปปัง ปาเปถะ โว มะตัง
Khippaṃ pāpetha vo mataṃ
ให้ลุถึงนิพพานพลัน
and swiftly bring you to what you have set your heart on.
อิมินา ปุญญะกัมเมนะ
Iminā puññakammena
ด้วยบุญนี้ ที่เราทำ
By this deed of merit that we have done,
อิมินา อุททิเสนะ จะ
Iminā uddisena ca
แลอุทิศ ให้ปวงสัตว์
and by this dedication to all beings,
ขิปปาหัง สุละเภ เจวะ
Khippāhaṃ sulabhe ceva
เราพลันได้ ซึ่งการตัด
may I swiftly come to the cutting off
ตัณหุปาทานะเฉทะนัง
Taṇhupādānachedanaṃ
ตัวตัณหา อุปาทาน
of craving and of clinging.
เย สันตาเน หินา ธัมมา
Ye santāne hinā dhammā
สิ่งชั่วในดวงใจ
Whatever base states are in my heart,
ยาวะ นิพพานะโต มะมัง
Yāva nibbānato mamaṃ
กว่าเราจะถึงนิพพาน
until I reach Nibbāna,
นัสสันตุ สัพพะทา เยวะ
Nassantu sabbadā yeva
มลายสิ้น จากสันดาน
let them perish utterly from my nature,
ยัตถะ ชาโต ภะเว ภะเว
Yattha jāto bhave bhave
ทุก ๆ ภพ ที่เราเกิด
in every existence in which I am born.
