ปาเปสิ เขมัง ชะนะตัง วิเนยยัง.

Pāpesi khemaṃ janataṃ vineyyaṃ.

brought to safety the people fit to be trained.

พุทธัง วะรันตัง สิระสา นะมามิ

Buddhaṃ varantaṃ sirasā namāmi

That excellent Buddha I salute with my head,

โลกัสสะ นาถัญจะ วินายะกัญจะ

Lokassa nāthañca vināyakañca

the refuge of the world and its guide.

ตันเตชะสา เต ชะยะสิทธิ โหตุ

Tantejasā te jayasiddhi hotu

By the power of that, may victory and success be yours,

สัพพันตะรายา จะ วินาสะเมนตุ.

Sabbantarāyā ca vināsamentu.

and may all dangers come to nothing.

ธัมโม ธะโช โย วิยะ ตัสสะ สัตถุ

Dhammo dhajo yo viya tassa satthu

The Dhamma, which is like the banner of that Teacher,

ทัสเสสิ โลกัสสะ วิสุทธิมัคคัง

Dassesi lokassa visuddhimaggaṃ

showed the world the path of purification;

นิยยานิโก ธัมมะธะรัสสะ ธารี

Niyyāniko dhammadharassa dhārī

it leads out, and upholds the one who upholds it,

สาตาวะโห สันติกะโร สุจิณโณ.

Sātāvaho santikaro suciṇṇo.

bringing sweetness, making peace, well practised.

ธัมมัง วะรันตัง สิระสา นะมามิ

Dhammaṃ varantaṃ sirasā namāmi

That excellent Dhamma I salute with my head,

โมหัปปะทาลัง อุปะสันตะทาหัง

Mohappadālaṃ upasantadāhaṃ

which shatters delusion and stills the burning.

ตันเตชะสา เต ชะยะสิทธิ โหตุ

Tantejasā te jayasiddhi hotu

By the power of that, may victory and success be yours,

สัพพันตะรายา จะ วินาสะเมนตุ.

Sabbantarāyā ca vināsamentu.

and may all dangers come to nothing.

สัทธัมมะเสนา สุคะตานุโค โย

Saddhammasenā sugatānugo yo

The army of the True Dhamma, which follows the Well-gone One,

โลกัสสะ ปาปูปะกิเลสะเชตา

Lokassa pāpūpakilesajetā

conqueror of the world's evil and its defilements;

สันโต สะยัง สันตินิโยชะโก จะ

Santo sayaṃ santiniyojako ca

at peace itself, and joining others to peace,

ส๎วากขาตะธัมมัง วิทิตัง กะโรติ.

Svākkhātadhammaṃ viditaṃ karoti.

it makes the well-proclaimed Dhamma known.

สังฆัง วะรันตัง สิระสา นะมามิ

Saṅghaṃ varantaṃ sirasā namāmi

That excellent Saṅgha I salute with my head,

พุทธานุพุทธัง สะมะสีละทิฏฐิง

Buddhānubuddhaṃ samasīladiṭṭhiṃ

awakened after the Awakened One, equal in virtue and in view.

ตันเตชะสา เต ชะยะสิทธิ โหตุ

Tantejasā te jayasiddhi hotu

By the power of that, may victory and success be yours,

สัพพันตะรายา จะ วินาสะเมนตุ.

Sabbantarāyā ca vināsamentu.

and may all dangers come to nothing.

นะโม อะระหะโต สัมมาสัมพุทธัสสะ มะเหสิโน

Namo arahato sammāsambuddhassa mahesino

Homage to the Worthy One, the Perfectly Awakened, the great Seeker;

นะโม อุตตะมะธัมมัสสะ ส๎วากขาตัสเสวะ เตนิธะ

Namo uttamadhammassa svākkhātasseva tenidha

homage to the supreme Dhamma, well proclaimed by him here;

นะโม มะหาสังฆัสสาปิ วิสุทธะสีละทิฏฐิโน

Namo mahāsaṅghassāpi visuddhasīladiṭṭhino

homage also to the great Saṅgha, pure in virtue and in view;
