อิทัมปิ สังเฆ ระตะนัง ปะณีตัง
Idampi saṅghe ratanaṃ paṇītaṃ
This too is an excellent jewel in the Saṅgha.
เอเตนะ สัจเจนะ สุวัตถิ โหตุ.
Etena saccena suvatthi hotu.
By this truth, may there be well-being.
วะนัปปะคุมเพ ยะถา ผุสสิตัคเค
Vanappagumbe yathā phussitagge
Just as a woodland thicket, its crowns in blossom
คิมหานะมาเส ปะฐะมัส๎มิง คิมเห
Gimhānamāse paṭhamasmiṃ gimhe
in the first month of the hot season,
ตะถูปะมัง ธัมมะวะรัง อะเทสะยิ
Tathūpamaṃ dhammavaraṃ adesayi
so did he teach the excellent Dhamma, likened to that,
นิพพานะคามิง ปะระมัง หิตายะ
Nibbānagāmiṃ paramaṃ hitāya
leading to Nibbāna, for the highest welfare.
อิทัมปิ พุทเธ ระตะนัง ปะณีตัง
Idampi buddhe ratanaṃ paṇītaṃ
This too is an excellent jewel in the Buddha.
เอเตนะ สัจเจนะ สุวัตถิ โหตุ.
Etena saccena suvatthi hotu.
By this truth, may there be well-being.
วะโร วะรัญญู วะระโท วะราหะโร
Varo varaññū varado varāharo
The excellent one, knower of the excellent, giver and bringer of the excellent,
อะนุตตะโร ธัมมะวะรัง อะเทสะยิ
Anuttaro dhammavaraṃ adesayi
unsurpassed, taught the excellent Dhamma.
อิทัมปิ พุทเธ ระตะนัง ปะณีตัง
Idampi buddhe ratanaṃ paṇītaṃ
This too is an excellent jewel in the Buddha.
เอเตนะ สัจเจนะ สุวัตถิ โหตุ.
Etena saccena suvatthi hotu.
By this truth, may there be well-being.
ขีณัง ปุราณัง นะวัง นัตถิ สัมภะวัง
Khīṇaṃ purāṇaṃ navaṃ natthi sambhavaṃ
The old is destroyed, and there is no new arising;
วิรัตตะจิตตายะติเก ภะวัส๎มิง
Virattacittāyatike bhavasmiṃ
their minds are without passion for a future existence.
เต ขีณะพีชา อะวิรุฬหิฉันทา
Te khīṇabījā avirūḷhichandā
With their seeds destroyed and no desire for regrowth,
นิพพันติ ธีรา ยะถายัมปะทีโป
Nibbanti dhīrā yathāyampadīpo
the wise go out, just as this lamp does.

ยานีธะ ภูตานิ สะมาคะตานิ
Yānīdha bhūtāni samāgatāni
Whatever beings are gathered here,
ภุมมานิ วา ยานิวะ อันตะลิกเข
Bhummāni vā yāniva antalikkhe
whether of the earth or of the sky,
ตะถาคะตัง เทวะมะนุสสะปูชิตัง
Tathāgataṃ devamanussapūjitaṃ
the Tathāgata, honoured by devas and humans —
พุทธัง นะมัสสามะ สุวัตถิ โหตุ.
Buddhaṃ namassāma suvatthi hotu.
the Buddha we salute: may there be well-being.
ยานีธะ ภูตานิ สะมาคะตานิ
Yānīdha bhūtāni samāgatāni
Whatever beings are gathered here,
ภุมมานิ วา ยานิวะ อันตะลิกเข
Bhummāni vā yāniva antalikkhe
whether of the earth or of the sky,
ตะถาคะตัง เทวะมะนุสสะปูชิตัง
